I hope goverment will look into consideration to save the hill & not closing
their eyes for new upcoming projects not only for Melawati but other places
too...
Goverment should not only look at the money but also the environment

Developers are just greedy company with greedy people who is ready 24/7 to
destroy lives of residence and nature so that their own bank accounts and
pockets may be filled with money. They don't care about us. If we make noise
they will have a meeting and listen to grievances but in the end they will go
ahead and destroy the world. Why? someone is paid to approve lah! Money can
buy co-operation here. People like us have no say in the final decision.
Sad sad that Malaysia is not taking good care of their environment. I am residence
of Melawati for 27 yrs and I see things becoming worst not better. Thanks to
developer.
Come Melawati residence, fight for our hill, our trees and our peace of mind. Don't
give up!!

It's sad, to hear another green spot giving way to house the ever increasing
population......i can go on and on about the green effect and the
destruction...but as with the story of exotic leather and fur coats...when the
buying stops, the killing stops....human beings are funny little
creatures...we are always seeking more than just what we have....as if the
housing area around Melawati ain't enough to fit all of us, we have folks who
also build houses on hill tops etc....while the privileged few get all they
want on that hill (assuming all else fail), the rest of the population can go
fly kites...it is a sick and sad mentality, but truth to be told, we are all
at fault of it. The hilltop building of houses have already been initiated by
some quarters and this was followed suit....so far the houses around the hill
have yet to crumble, and i do not wish them any such bad luck, and with this,
developers are keen to build on the hill near it. I will not say that the
people must evacuate their current hill side houses to make a point...but we
can try to prevent further buildings.....good luck to the team....i'll keep
walking there for as long as i can and for as long as the hill allows it.
Kudos to the team...=)

I am sad for the residents in Taman Melawati. Klang Valley has very little
land left. The least developers could do is to leave this land alone and go
develop at other places.

i lived in taman melawati for 1 yr..and its a nice place ..that hill is like a
mark..they cant cut it down..creatures live there..and its a beautiful view
from it..PLEASE stop them from doing it!!!!

Taman Melawati.Kepada pihak berkuasa tempatan saya memohon jasa baik supaya
prihatin dan sensitif kepada rayuan,keluhan dan jeritan para penghuni di Taman
Melawati supaya menyelamatkan Bukit Taman Melawati. Hentikanlah pembangunan di
sana demi kesejahteraan bukan saja manusia malah haiwan yang spesisnya kian
pupus.Mereka juga makhluk Tuhan yang mempunyai hak untuk hidup tanpa
diganggu-gugat. Ingatlah bahawa gunung ganang dan bukit bukau adalah paksi
bumi yang dicipta khas untuk mengimbangi kedudukan di atas orbitnya. Saya
bimbang kalau diganggu-gugat paksi ini akan tergelincir dan akibatnya manusia
sendiri akan menanggungnya. Suasana tak seimbang sudah kelihatan sekarang
iaitu cuaca tidak menentu kerana sistem ekologi telah banyak dicabul manusia
yang rakus yang hanya mementingkan kepuasan diri tanpa prihatin kepada habitat
makhluk lain.Semoga suara ini didengari pihak berwajib dan tindakan sewajarnya
diambil demi kesejahteraan sejagat yang berpanjangan..... eh pon, taman
